Mike Vincent has been entertaining crowds since the early 1980's. Mike, a native of upstate NY, came from a very musical family, and he got his start behind a set of drums at the age of 5. By his mid-teens, Mike was playing professionally in the band "WhiteWater", a NY Country/Rock band that recorded their first single in Nashville in 1984. (Mike turned 16 when the recording was made!) A few months later, Mike was performing live warming up for such artists as Molly Hatchet, The Outlaws, and Marshall Tucker. He has performed in clubs and theaters throughout the Northeast, and headlined in major venues in New York City. Mike learned from these early "band years" how to entertain a crowd, and most importantly "How to read a crowd"! Mike left the band in late 1984, before graduating high school. This was the beginning of a brand new and exciting opportunity to entertain, and entertain he did!
Soon after high school, Mike began his new career as a radio on air personality. He started his mobile DJ business in 1988 to supplement what he did on the air. Mike loved being a radio DJ, and he wanted to bring his brand of entertainment to the public. Hence, Mike Vincent Productions was born with a mission : "To make sure that people were entertained beyond anything that have ever seen or heard before!" Mike invested everything he had for professional equipment, all the music, and anything needed to set Mike Vincent Productions apart from any other entertainer. Mike was a pioneer to bring a new format to the DJ arena; when all the other DJ's were carrying around records, Mike saw the advantage of using the new CD format. Other DJ's soon followed suit, even after they thought that CD's would never catch on. Mike also was at the forefront of a new concept: To not stand behind the equipment and be a musical jukebox, but to take his wireless microphone into the crowd, and ENTERTAIN. After all, that was the primary job of an entertainer...isn't it?
By 1995, Mike was the Marquis DJ entertainer for major nightclubs in the Hudson Valley area of NY, 2 hours north of NYC. Mike played to capacity crowds, and was DJ'ing in clubs at least 3 nights a week in addition to having a morning radio show, and weekend wedding receptions to entertain. Local venues and newspapers later dubbed Mike as the "hardest working DJ in the Hudson Valley", and Mike was in demand to entertain parties in NY and beyond. (He's traveled up and down the East Coast to entertain all kinds of events!)
In January of 2000, Mike was transplanted to the suburban Washington DC area, and soon got Mike Vincent Productions off to a blazing start. Within months, Mike was entertaining parties for companies like Lockheed Martin, Boeing, British Aerospace Engineering, and military functions such as the Quantico Marines Corp Ball, and NSWC Dahlgren holiday parties. Mike played for Fire and Police Department functions and parties, Corporate events, fund raisers for Children's Miracle Network and St Jude's, and many others. In addition, Mike was a featured DJ entertainer for nightclubs in the Fredericksburg, VA area. In 2007, Mike had to say goodbye to Virginia, to make a move to his new home just outside of San Francisco, CA.
Mike was married in August of 2008 to his wife Christina, who is now the co-owner and Public Relations Manager for Mike Vincent Productions. Christina's background in wedding coordination adds a new dimension to personal service that Mike Vincent Production offers. According to Mike "Christina knows how to add personal attention, service, and detail into anything we do. Even when I busy making sure people are entertained, Christina will be my eyes and ears to work with a coordinator to make sure we are all on the same page. She is my back-up that ensures nothing gets overlooked or missed!"
Mike and Christina invite you to experience entertainment taken to an entirely new level. Between ultra-high customer service and high energy interactive entertainment, you will be assured of having the event of a lifetime!
